Here’s a #janefonda #Barbarella #pinup that’s been sitting around my studio forever! Seriously! I did the original sketch about 15 years ago and just now getting around to inking it. I really wanted this to be the definitive Barbarella to end all Barbarellas. I wanted this piece to walk on water and was passionate about it.

But like most things we’re so passionate about doing, it just sat half-finished because I never thought I was just the right kind of “good enough” to finish it.

I also want to color it… maybe in another 10 years… I love the movie Barbarella. It’s one of those kitschy things that is amazing in so many unexpected ways.
